Positive Psychology
An introduction to the science and practice of well-being, including topics such as
happiness, optimism, gratitude, mindfulness, positive mental health, character
strengths, and positive relationships, with a focus on evidence-based strategies for
optimizing individual and community functioning. Students will develop the skills to
understand the theoretical and empirical underpinnings of positive psychology.
